10 Apr 2022 Doggy Easter Egg Hunt and Winery Tour

Oh what a magnificent day. Soooo much fun watching the Puppers hunt for their carob Easter Eggs. The weather was amazing and Peeps very relaxed for our combined Doggy Easter Egg Hunt and Mornington Trail Doggy Winery Tour. Welcome Back  Sybell (#), Mellow (#) and Chrysla (#), Tilly (#), Charlie (#), Bailey (#) and Grace (#3) and a big hello to first timers Pepe (#1) and Daisy (#).  As Bella the Dog Friendly bus cruised on down to the Mornington Peninsula with carefully handed out hot cross buns (read: do not drop the raisins on the floor!), there was so much chatter going on, it made Bella’s motor run.  We were so grateful of our Teresa our first Guest Host and her GP experience she shared with folks. We think this is a novel way of spreading the love – thanks for being an awesome co-pilot for the day. We had to laugh at Ms Sybell, Ms Grace, Mr Chrysla and Ms Mellow on trying to cheat and find the eggs before any other pooches were ready. Cheeky doggos. As soon as the ‘ready, set go’ was called off went Bailey and Charlie – but not for the eggs, they just want to do zoomies anywhere they could, finally deciding they might be missing out on something and came wandering back. Pepe and Daisy were not going to let their ‘first timer’ status get in the way of the fun and managed to get stuck into the hunt. As for Ms Tilly and Ms Grace – the tall puppers of the group, they were very gentle and reserved allowing everyone to find eggs and then jumping in on the fun. Thanks Phaedrus Estate for hosting us – we just love coming to your amazing winery. A relaxing wine tasting followed and then it was off to lunch. All that fun, made for some exhausted pooches taking in the scenery on Bella. With a gently stroll over Flinders Beach and finishing with ice-cream for the journey home, it was a seriously fabulous way to spend a Sunday. Until we see you again, Paws Out from the GP Team and enjoy a Happy and Safe Easter next weekend.
