9 July Doggo Gumboots and Gin

Oh boy did the Weather Dogs listen to our request for great socialising weather. While Bella was scooting down the Geelong freeway, there was some rain. Then it held off for the picturesque walk along the foreshore. Followed by some drizzle on the way to the Distillery, then we even got sunshine and then it rained on the way home. Simply Pawfect! Welcome Back Chrysla (#59), Eddie (#16),  Matty (#15), Emma (#15), Poppy (#4) and a HUGE Hello to Peppa (#1). Mr Diesel was in fine form translating for all the Paws at Morning Tea. An array of amazing food delivered to our outdoor dining area, was very tempting for the puppers. They all showed showed amazing constraint – well except for Chrysla who managed a bit of fish. Matty and Emma were so jealous – you could just see their glare. Poppy and Eddie were just comfortable as long as Uncle Ben was taking them for a walk. Peppa certainly learnt the rules early – bark at the dogs not in the group – “look at us we are special we travelled on a bus” – cheeky moneky. It was a seriously relaxing day over an open fire, extensive gin tasting, cocktails and loads of fabulous food. We hope to see you again soon.
