The weather dogs were sending their love today with so totally pawesome sunshine for our first Annual Truffle Hunt. Seriously check out the blue sky in the pics. What an amazing day was had by all Peeps and Paws. Welcome back Tilly (#42), Eddie (#17), Bailey (#16), Charlie (#16), Whispa (#11), Charlie (#3), Hugo (#3), Pickle (#2) and a big licking warm welcome to first timers Forrest (#1), Montana (#1), Duchess (#1), Lady (#1), Sophia (#1), Molly (#1), Noodle (#1) and Pedro (#1). There was so much excitement at our special socialising activity, you could just see the Doggos knew they were in for a treat of a day. With a casual cruise to Black Cat Truffle, Bella the Dog Bus was almost behaving – she just forgot to set the air conditioning – who would have thought it was necessary in the middle of July. The special truffle treasure hunt was a hit with all the pooches, who got their sniffing gear working to find the special truffle treats. With a bit more time to get to know each other before their hoomans ‘vanished’ for their Truffle Hunt. There were a few houdinis attempting to get into the truffle farm which made for some crazy times before settling into the fun and games with Ben and Sacha. A special relaxing time with dogs wandering while fur-parents chilled over grazing platters of truffle inspired dishes from acclaimed chef Liam Downes – and oh was it a delight for the eyes, noses and mouths.
