Woooo Hooo, it doesn’t get any better than the sun shining on gorgeous July day as we welcome Chuck, Bill, Lucy Lu, Dougie, Freddie and Max on their first Doggy Winery Tour to the Mornington Peninsula. With the sniff and social time at Port Melbourne ticked, it was time for all paws to jump on board Bella and get settled for the cosy ride.

The talented dog carer Lani, joined us at Yabby Lake to let the pooches stretch their legs while the all important morning wine tasting got underway. Lovely to be inside with the fire roaring!

Now that the hoomans had some entertainment it was time for the pooches to get up close and personal with Flinders Beach and the joy of running through the sand and seaweed. At one point we were waiting for Dougie, Lucy and Freddie to disappear in the seaweed, such gorgeous little legs. Max, Chuck and Bill watched on thinking, – hilarious – not an issue for us long legs.

Bill got the special treatment from Lani with a ‘dry shampoo’ rub down from Paw by Blackmores – extra special massage too.

Time for lunch with a wonderful array of local produce at Red Hill Epicurean awaiting us and the pooches got some much needed snoozes under the table.

Our last stop for the day was at Stonier Winery where the outside tasting with Renata was a fabulous way to finish a great day with a great group. Lots of ‘interesting’ conversations to keep us entertained and the pooches loved the grass to unwind on.
