Take a peek at the photo of Bella the dog welcoming bus while she is waiting patiently for all the pooches……….the sun rise says it all we were in for one awesome dog friendly experience. We definitely had a superb sunny winter’s day. We welcomed 5 ‘virgin’ pooches (Thanks Lisa for our the new term for ‘first timers’!!), Beau, Mooks, Zuko, Reuben and Ruby. Bella was packed to rafters with laughter and chatter all the way to Black Cat Truffles. Home baked apple cake and coffees were absolutely necessary to watch the ‘kiddies’ romp and roam to their heart’s content, some would say ‘pawfect!’. There was lots of cuddling happening while the humans dug up 650gm of black magic under the watchful eye of Lynette and Andres – another fabulous experience at their truffiere. Some pooches – who shall remain nameless – were first off the mark in their truffle treasure hunt – finding all the goodies. Like all good fur-parents – they had some as a reward and some to take home. Time for a massage and the soothing hands of Katrina to ease the tired paws into a sleepy world – well almost – never know what you might miss out on. IT was 3 courses of truffles, truffles and more truffles at the Farmers Arms and with such a warm dining room – it was easy to relax. Congratulations Beau for winning the photo competition and Reuben for being on the mark with the Truffle Trivia – until next time Paws Out from the GP team.
