9 Feb 2014 – Yarra Valley Tour

Our Yarra Valley Doggy Winery Tour started with a gentle walk to pick up morning tea. Then a long swim at Lilydale Lake at 10am cooled down the 4 legged friends, as the temperature started to decline for the first time in days. Lounging on the grass at St Huberts was the order of the morning, with arms out stretched to be filled with tasters of their wines. Lunch under the oak tree at Domaine Chandon was just the answer for a cool breeze and glass of bubbles to set the afternoon mood. With pooped pooches and lazy hoomans it was a casual affair at Train Trak with some special edition wines on the tasting menu. Despite a rather warm start it was a pleasant day with great food, wine and woofers!
