A private and exclusive tour of Geelong Gaol with the brave doggos telling those ghosts to "keep moving nothing to see here''.
Enjoy a boutique small group adventure to celebrate Fur-Fathers Day or for Fur Lovers all round. This is a unique opportunity to experience all the history of Geelong Gaol on a private guided tour.
Geelong Gaol was built between 1849 and 1864 and has some dark secrets. It open until 1991. From convicts to murderers and all those between were housed in this historic bluestone building. The first executions were public ones held at Gallows Flat, an area at the front gate of the Gaol. The bright yellow gallows were a warning to keep on the right side of the law. View the extensive exhibitions like Ned Kelly’s death mask, Mark Chopper Read's artwork and see the prison uniforms through the ages.
Wander the scenic and sniff worthy paths of Geelong's Eastern Park. Then be treated to a unique High Cheese Afternoon Tea at a local restaurant in private courtyard, before entering the haunted gates. There will be plenty of time to chat and bark with like minded Peeps and Paws.
Whether you are coming on your own or with a group of friends we will take care of everything. Bella the Dog Friendly Bus will chauffeur you with dogs getting the window seat where window licking the scenery is encouraged!
We have done all the planning so all you have to do is bring your sense of adventure - oh and your dog!

See you in Sept 2025 |
We start at Port Melbourne with some essential dog socialising. This is an essential part where all the dogs get to know each other so they are comfortable on Bella and at the venues.
Then we are off on a leisurely drive on Bella to Geelong and the Eastern Park. We stop for a wee break and some off leash time, then there is a choice of walks around this incredibly sniffing heaven with some fabulous views across Corio Bay.
A short journey to a fabulous restaurant for High Cheese (think everything imaginable about cheese - hot and cold) in a private courtyard followed by a doggo wee break.
Then it is on to Geelong Gaol for a private tour of all things Ghosts, Convicts and History with the dogs of course.
