1 March 2015 Daylesford Doggy Winery Tour

With 9 gorgeous pooches who loved meeting all their new friends, Rafa, Harry, Kobe, Huey, Frank, Harry, Buster, Brian, Lucky and their Mums and Dads were set to enjoy a day of food, wine and walks. With the weather changing at each stop, the biggest decision of the day was if the jumper was on or off! Daylesford Cider showed us how cider should really be with their new managers entertaining the crowd on the history of the property. You would never know that moments before we arrived at Frangos and Frangos they were busy cleaning up the storm damage mess in the car park. As always they made us feel very welcome. Tim our new driver and dog carer fitted in so well with all our guests. The walk to Lake Daylesford started like all the others however, the storm damage at the top of the path was significant. Our adventure loving group opted to continue what was now a trek over trees, branches and up and down a few hills. Finally the Lake greeted us not showing a ripple of the craziness from the night before. After a private guided tasting at Fontanella Winery it was a bit hard to say time to go home, the pooches were running and playing and their parents were onto their second tasting. Thank you to all our wonderful guests who joined us and made the day so special.
