4 Dec 2016 Mornington Peninsula Doggy Winery Tour

Woooo Hoooo – what an absolutely fabulous pawfect day for a Doggy Winery Tour to the Mornington Peninsula! Thank you weather Gods, you excelled yourselves! We always love the small and intimate groups and this was no exception – so wonderful to get to know 2 and 4 legged guests in a personal way. Hello to Pete and Lochie our first timers and welcome back to Tilly – the gorgeous, now officially our largest dog on our tours. Diesel as always was super excited to show his new friends the life of the Chief Paw Officer – such a tough job!

Yabby Lake Winery was in full swing with their amazing ‘tasting bar’ area open for us – check out the photos, just loved it!

Pete, Tilly and Diesel were all over Flinders Beach, just loving the whole beach experience. Lochie was not going to miss out on the fun and thought belly height in the water was fine!

By lunch, it was time for that much needed massage in the air-conditioned comfort of Bella the dog welcoming bus and the very talented Nadene and her myotherapy skills. Not to mention Pupcorn and a movie. Merricks General Store was a restful place for all 2 legged guests to enjoy lunch and  wine tasting. Tilly was certainly in marketing mode, looking out the window and attracting some very curious looks from passerbys. Well done Miss Tilly – you are a star!

A walk through the gum lined trails of Merricks was a wonderful way to stretch the legs after lunch before enjoying the amazing hospitality of Stonier. We think Pete and Lochie might have been plum tuckered out at this stage.

Congratulations Tilly for the awesome photo that won you the Armadale Cellars prize.
