Our Mornington Peninsula Doggy Winery Tour set off from Port Melbourne beach with the very talented Bonnie in charge of Bella and much window licking to be done by the pooches.
We welcomed back Frank, Lucky, Gemimah and Morus and with 15 tours between you, there was no stopping you from knowing how much fun was in store. Hello to our first timers Tilly, Patience and Dex, you guys certainly fitted in with the group and watched the ‘old paws’ explain the day. Well done Miss Tilly, you were so brave with your sore paw, not missing out on anything. So sad to know Patience and Dex are moving back to Perth, maybe one day we will see your smiling (very different!) faces again.
Our first tasting was at the stunning Yabby Lake Vineyard and with so many photo opportunities to enter our competition, and it was Gemimah’s acting of having too much wine and lounging on the lawn which took the Ella+Friends Woof book home.
Thank you to PAW by Blackmores for providing the essential mousse shampoo to make all the dogs smelling great after their Flinders beach adventure. Now it was time for lunch at Red Hill Epicurean and boy were the weather gods shining down. Time for our 2-legged guests to chill out and be pampered by Lani and Bonnie, while their Mum’s and Dad’s enjoyed lunch and a wine tasting.
Our last tasting was at Mock Red Hill in their cider lounge and lots of tasty goodies to bring home.
Thank you for being a part of our Doggy Winery Tour and we hope to see you soon.
