29 July 2017 Truffle Hunt

Welcome Mochi, Rocky, Osa, Max, Freddie, Dougie, Sage, Loki and Sooty!

We were in for a windy day, with over 100km speeds it was certainly no time for Bella to be matching this. Icy winds on Port Melbourne beach did not seem to bother the dogs, Max and Osa even thought it was time for a swim. All aboard Bella to head for morning tea with everyone happy to be in warmth of Bella. Time for a run and stretch those legs in Ballan with the warmth of coffee and hedgehogs (the edible kind) to keep us happy.

Time to get those sniffing gear in order as we set off for Black Cat Truffles. A glass of sparkling in the warmth of the truffle shed was just the pawfect way to kick off a truffle hunt. While the pooches waited patiently for their turn at the truffle treasure hunt – woooo hoooo they were off and running to kind their very special treat.

While the hoomans enjoyed lunch it was rest and massage time for the pooches. Mochi, Rocky, Max and Sooty all fell asleep pretty quickly to the background noise of the movie Hachi. Osa, Sage and Loki were big fans of Hachi while Freddie and Dougie were happy for Angela to continue their special massage.

Great day out with a fabulous group of dogs. Congratulations to Loki who won the Shelby Memorial Photo Competition sponsored by Armadale Cellars – cute pic xxx
