The morning greeted us in typical Melbourne fashion with all 4 seasons before 10am then settling down and at the end pouring down. However, nothing could dampen 6 very excited first timers. Welcome to Coconut, Jobe, Alvin, Hugo, Pablo and Zeus and of course Chief Paw Officer Diesel. It didn’t take long for all the fur-kids to be happily roaming around together after the all important sniff and social time. It was wonderful to see everyone welcome Jobe with care and sloppy licks. Alvin was quick to find water for a dip at St Huberts while the others seem content roaming around watching the sipping and chatting take place. Sharon weaved her magic with Jobe and Diesel at Badgers Brook/Tramontos giving them cuddles while the others lazed under the table. Such a fabulous setting for wine tasting and the entree of our progressive lunch. A gentle walk up before the all important movie and massage for the pooches and a well deserved main meal and wine tasting for the two-legged folks. Coconut was sound asleep within minutes of her massage, no movie for this tired little one. Hugo and Pablo were too excited to sleep, they might miss the movie or another cuddle. Zeus and Alvin thought it would be fun to stand up and watch the cars go by and Jobe was content as long as Sharon arm wasn’t too far away, cheeky monkey. A final stop for some regional produce tasting before heading home with the sound of snoring drifting through Bella.
Congratulations Zeus on winning the Shelby Memorial Photo Competition sponsored by Armadale Cellars and runner up Coconut for one very cool video.
