This is the type of Winter’s day you wish for, clear skies for the most part, even sun, gentle breeze and fabulous company. The first Paws and Pubs Mystery Tour was unveiled – going to the Bass Coast and walking from Kilcunda to almost San Remo. Welcome back Sybell (#52), Mellow (#42), Chrysla (#42), Preston (#2) and Charlie (#2). With a big hello to first timers Indy (#1), Buddy (#1),  Samson (#1) and Lexi (#1).  Mr Diesel was a sulky puppy that he couldn’t meet you, he says his little back needed to rest today. The views oh boy the views – the pictures are great but certainly the real life action was so much more. It was whale watching season with the Killer Whales and Southern Right migrating north however they were way too far off for Peeps and Paws to see. It was lovely to see besties Samson, Lexi and Buddy striding it out with the others while Mellow and Chrysla wanted to make sure they were out in front. As for Queen Sybell well a few kilometers is enough for her dainty paws. Although very impressed Sybell had one of the Doggy Mellow Muffins – filled with goodness. Preston, Charlie and Indy seemed content to just do their own thing and take in the wonderful smells. One exhausted Preston over lunch. Thanks heaps Westernport Hotel for a wonderful relaxing lunch with special gifts of Pawseco and Paws Blonde drinkies for the pooches. You really must check out their doggo menu – awesome.
