Our first Hike and Lunch Tour brought out the regulars keen to try out our new tour adventure and what a day of Food, Wine and Walks with our dogs. A mid-week break and a more active approach to our Doggy Winery Tours.
There was a little bit of everything, with some choosing the 3km walk, while another guests wanted to pop her feet up at Red Hill Epicurean and relax. The 6.5km walk went so quickly, amazing how that happens when you are chatting and enjoying the crisp pine leave air.
Sharon from Manners For Paws kept us entertained with so many training tips and even some for the dogs. It was great to learn about how we often forget to reward good behaviour! Well Done Sharon. We hope to see you again.
Birthday celebrations all round with Helen coming back 12 months later to celebrate with us again, we felt very special to be able to re-create the cake and enjoy it with her partner Yvonne and Princess Tilly. Lennie our seasoned veteran, with 18 tours between her and smoocher Artie, also celebrated her birthday with us. Thank you for being a part of our journey, Lennie and Artie.
It was wonderful to welcome Carmen and Monty to the Gourmet Pawprints ‘family’ and so glad you enjoyed your walk with our talented Driver/Dog Carer, Andrea, who commented “not a bad job”!! We think it is pretty cool to be able to take guests and their pooches out for a day.
It was lovely to welcome back Sharon, Max and Charli and to get to know the team.
Red Hill Epicurean certainly show cased their amazing food with homebaked bread and olives, shared platters, wood fired pizza, pasta and salad. Not to mention that very rewarding glass of wine.
Paulina and Morus joined us for the last tour this year as we sadly had to say farewell our amazingly talented photographer and digital designer from Digital Grain. Paulina is off on special project in London for an initial 6months. Come back soon!
