Oh what a day…..even if it was a bit drizzly at Port Melbourne, the sun was certainly out in the Yarra Valley. Simply a Pawfect day for a Doggy Winery Tour. Welcome Back Lola (#4) and a big hello to first timers Nyla (#1), Lilo (#1), Matilda (#1) – got the Tillies!!!), Kuma (#1) and Archer. We need to modify our socialising activity with a bus of little ones, the grass was high and it was wet at Port Melbourne – everyone was so happy for the brief Hi’s and onto Bella it was. Scooting along to the Yarra Valley, it is always a pleasure to hear so much laughter and chatting amongst long term friends and new friends. With a short stroll to unwind the paws, it was wine and cheese tasting in between canine nutrition chats at our first winery. Thanks to Sacha for getting the pooches out in the sun while the hoomans gossiped. Our next stop was information galore from the wine maker – Charles who entertained us about all sorts of quirks and facts to do with wine and the Yarra Valley – very insightful for Peeps. Paws were more interested in sniffing the grass – each to their own we say. A fabulous lunch inside Steels Gate marque was next on the stop list. We even had to move the table because the sun was too hot!!!! It was a very lively and engaging group and the GP Team thank you for making our day too. Until next time Paws Out.
