We were carefully watching the weather forecast all week and knew by Friday that it was going to be a bit wet at Port Melbourne but after that we would drive right through it. So glad we were correct! Bella welcomed Leo, Snoopy,  Rupert, Poppy, Nell, April, Dogdog, Spot, Poppy, Fender, Ciccio and Bobby to jump on board out of the rain and relax. When the rain lifted there was still plenty of time to go for a wee break before heading off. There was even some sunshine peeking through as we cruised our way to Black Cat Truffles. Nothing was stopping the little paws from chasing the big paws over morning tea – with loads of treats coming from Katrina and Maggie – they had the pooches attention. Nothing quite says winter they way freshly hunted truffles does – and boy what a bootie we found.  When it was time for the truffle treasure hunt – there was no stopping some dogs – yes we are talking to you Bobby! We almost made it back to Bella before more rain and a bit of hail – which looked like snow on the ground. Bella made for a lovely rather large sleeping den for all the pooches over lunch – happiness from massages, new friends, treats and runs.
