Thank you Weather Dogs for turning on the sunshine for our Doggo Gumboots and Gin Tour – it really was a marvellous day to explore Geelong and the Bellarine Peninsula. Welcome Back Kennedy (#22), Eddie (#19), Matty (#17), Emma (#17), Ruby (#8), Reuben (#7), Lola (#5), Forrest (#2) and Montana (#2). Mr Diesel says a warm Big Hello to Laoise (#1), Frankie (#1) and Buffy (#1). We have to say congrats to Laoise for attempting Bella the Dog Bus’s stairs – you certainly weren’t going to let them beat you and a very Happy Birthday fur-Mum – Catherine – so glad you joined us to celebrate. Mr Kennedy was the special friend every first timer needs helping and comforting Laoise when she thought 1km was enough and that was it – no moving her. That is OK Bella scooted back to pick her up and all was right again. We made some jokes when the hoomans needed a bathroom break “they had left the country” – well at least Emma and Forrest thought so, Montana just rolled her eyes – I am so OK with Mumma being gone as long as Uncle Ben does not move his patting hand. It was lovely to see Reuben chilling out at the distillery while Mumma enjoyed some lovely Gin Cocktail selections. Frankie and Buffy were the first to follow the sun – taking up residence on the grass and looking pretty happy with their choice. Lola and Eddie seemed to bond over a sort of shared space which was very cute – even if Eddie had one eye always on who Uncle Ben was cuddling – just to be sure he was getting his fair share. The very chatty Mr Diesel was his usual talkative self and getting more chatty as he gets older. It was lovely to see the hoomans trying a range of Gin Cocktails – so many pretty colours!!! Thanks for taking the time to share your photos of the day we hope you enjoy them. Until next time Peeps and Paws – it is over and out for 2023 Gin from the GP Team.
