What an amazing day……….hats off bones out for the Weather Dogs – they just excelled today with some sunshine, almost clear skies and the rain finished by the time we arrived at Indented Heads for the start of 8km off leash walk to Portarlington. Queen Sybell likes to celebrate her birthdays in style and very generously gave all the pooches a gift bag of goodies. As Sybell on the last tour (see previous Post) decided she wanted to drive Bella and given she was struggling reaching the peddles, GP decided to buy her a bus of her own. Happy Driving Ms Sybell on your #58 tour. Welcome Back Ronnie (#21), Bailey (#11), Charlie (#11), Bella (#8), Boomer (#8), Lizzie (#5), Coconut (#5), Milo (#4) and YAY to Lillie on her first tour (#1). You could say Mr Diesel was super excited to see so many friends. The off leash trail was just a delight for all Peeps and Paws, so much beach time, sniff time and just being with buddies. Uncle Ben was just smiling from ear to ear when he arrived at the Pub, he was so glad everyone enjoyed the walk and could not stop chatting about the water fun. We have to say that the whole group was watching out for each other, just like a family outings. Made our hearts sing to see all the folks who were looking over all the dogs regardless of who their Mumma or Dadda was. Bella the Dog Friendly Bus was ready and waiting to pick up any weary paws but nope everyone wanted to stretch their legs and paws and who wouldn’t on such a magnificent day. A very well deserved lunch at the wonderfully renovated Portarlington Grand Hotel was just what was needed for an afternoon of relaxing and enjoying great food, great company and a few beverages., and WOW how about the sensational service from absolutely everyone at the Pub. Thanks to everyone who has joined us on one of the 2022 Paws and Pubs Mystery Tours – GP had a blast and we look forward to doing it again in the Winter of 2023. Paws Out from GP.
